# Save Our Marinas

> Resident-led campaign urging City of Miami voters to vote NO on the November 3, 2026 Virginia Key marina referendum — a proposed 45-to-75-year lease of five parcels of public waterfront (3301, 3605, 3501, 3311, and 3511) to a private out-of-state operator. The ballot describes only "two marinas," but the executed lease conveys five parcels including restaurants, retail, and uplands.

Save Our Marinas is organizing across neighborhoods, marine trades, environmental groups, and small businesses to keep Rickenbacker Marina, Marine Stadium Marina, and the surrounding public waterfront parcels locally operated, affordable, and truly public.
